Derwent 12 Inktense Block Tin Set
These watersoluble ink blocks combine the versatility of Inktense with the freedom of blocks. When water is added, deep intense colours are created, giving a pure and translucent ink-like effect. Once dry, Inktense becomes permanent and can be worked over without affecting the layers of vivid colour. Use with water over dry block marks to create a translucent wash, or take colour direct from the block with a wet paintbrush. You can also use the 'Grate and Shake' pot to literally grate flakes off the block and add water to create a wash. The possibilities are endless! Grippers are also available to use when holding the block, to prevent transfer. All in all a brilliant medium and addition to the Derwent range.
